Well this is the final update for 1993 before September. The most important news is that we will not be meeting at Elizabeth's Restaurant due to an untimely closing. Molly has found and chosen a new place to meet. We are now meeting at the Mesquite Tree Restaurant at the Best Western at 7:00 PM in South Hutchinson. If you need directions or have any questions please contact Molly. Also we are trying to organize a hay rack ride after the dinner to add some fun.

I have received a small number of updates from a few of you. Although I have to say Mark Baumann wins at trying to update his information on fax and two phone messages (Way to go Markie).

I just wanted to let everyone know how the following information was gathered on the Class of 78. Molly did a great job taking charge back at the beginning of 1993 in trying to locate everyone in the class and getting some information back from them. Ed and I helped Molly by taking the addresses that were known and trying to call everyone in April/ May to get more information.

Ed thought that we needed to call everyone again a month before our reunion. So Ed took the initiative and talked his secretary into calling everyone in the class and updating the information database that we had started. Ed's secretary did an outstanding job (even though she did not know any of us). Ed faxed the information to me. I typed the database into a paragraph form to try and make it easier to read. I would like to thanks Ed and his secretary for the help they provided.

Gayle is now living in Marquette, Kansas. Gayle is married to Keith and have three children Jenniffer 10, Brian 7, and Kjirsten 1. Keith works at Archer Daniel Midland and Gayle is a home maker. Gayle enjoys hiking, swimming and boating. Gayle's favorite high school memory was graduation. Gayle says the most that has changed in her life was that she finally settled down, although she still likes talking a lot. Gayle's future plans are to stay in Marquette. Gayle will not be attending this years reunion, but you can call her Sunday though Thursday at (913) 546-2015.

Mark is now living in the south west part of Kansas City. Mark has been married to sandy for ten years. Mark has two children Bryce 9 and Britany 5. Mark is the President of Mr. Dent of America, Inc. an automotive paint less dent removal repair company. Mark has seven people working for him. His company provides training worldwide. Sandy works as a data communication technician for Mutual Fund Company DST Systems, Inc.

I have been married now for nine months to my beautiful wife Brenda. Brenda and I worked together at NCR for nine years. We have three children Eric 13, Jenny 11 that live in Wichita, and Sara 9 that lives with us. I work for Adaptec as a member of Strategic Accounts Team as a Sales Application engineer. My favorite hobbies are Tae Kwon Do, Amateur Radio and flying. Sara's hobby is swimming.

Janet is married to John and they are now living I Moundridge, KS they have been married three years and have three children Kristin 12, Joshua 10, and Ronda 9. Janet is working as a secretary at Keyston Railway Equipment Co. in McPherson, Kansas. John works as a carpenter for JB Construction. John is also an EMTI for Moundridge, and McPherson Janet and John enjoy being youth sponsor's Moundridge Untied Methodist Church.

Joe has been living in Hutchinson for the past 12 years. Joe is married to Rhonda. They have three children Ashley 7, Sarah 4, and Katie 2. Joe owns Kansas Ceramic Products.

Ed is living I Austin, TX. He served four years in the Air Force and did work in electronics with a secret clearance. Ed is now working for Motorola as a Senior Electronic Technician performing failure analysis on devices yet to make it to the market place (2-5 years in the future). Ed hobbies have been teaching country and whip dancing. Ed also teaches scuba diving. He just returned from his third dive trip to Mexico this year. Ed likes to water and snow ski. Ed's favorite memory was the last football game with Trinity High. Ed says he now makes friends much easier and tries to enjoy life. Ed's future plans are to complete a Business Management Degree he is currently is working o and also to remarry. Ed plans on attending the reunion this September. Darryl is now living in Severn, Maryland and has been married eight years to Bonnie. Darryl has three children Mark 7, Maria 5, and David 3. Darryl graduated in 1982 from Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C. wit a B.S. degree in Math. Darryl then graduated from Clemson University, Clemson S.C. with a M.S. degree in Math. He is now working at National Security Agency, Fort Meade, M.D. as a defense mathematician.

Lorena is living in Hutchinson, KS and is now married to John. Lorena has five children Anthoy 11, Kristi 13, Grace 13, Sephanie 14, and Racheal 15. Lorena has been working at the Data Center in Hutchinson since August of 1978. Lorena is now the Lead Sorter Operator at the Data Center that deals with 165 banks. Lorena lives in a two story house that has six bedrooms and says she loves their new home.

Karen has been married to Terry now for fourteen years. Karen has two children Sarah 6, and Brady 3. Karen and family are living in Burrton and they enjoy softball and basketball.

David and his wife Deb are living on a farm outside of Union, Iowa. They have just started a new auto parts business and an expanding trucking business. They also have a marketing development company in which they wholesale / retail business in all fifty states. They have four children Randi 14, Jamie 12, Jordan 8 and Tyler 1. David says the kids like sports just like old dad. David enjoys coaching their little league softball and basketball games. David says he wants to be at the reunion but will be out of town on a business trip. He will be looking forward to seeing every at the 20^th reunion.

Jody lives near Burrton, KS and is married to Gary. Jody has two children and is working at Mt. Hope Nursing Home.

Corey continues to live in rural Burrton, KS. He has stared his own sewer service business. Corey has been married now for nine years to Raeann, who is employed at Dillion's. Corey and Raeann have three children Breanna 7, Terell 5, and Colton 3. Corey enjoys hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Corey says that he has not changed much from high school, "he is still pretty idealistic" and the only real change has been more gray hairs.
